Rod has been a partner at The Shirt Box for nearly 7 years — this time around. He worked there previously when the store first opened. In 10th grade at Southfield Lathrup, a work study program had Rod working at the newly opened The Shirt Box as a stock boy.
Then college called, and after graduating from Michigan State University, and the University of Detroit School of Law, he practiced civil litigation for 13 years. But his love of haberdashery called him back. He finally made it our of the stock room and joined Ron as his business partner in 2004.
“Now I make sure people aren’t committing haberdashery malpractice.”
